Myślę, że wyścig możemy podzielić na 2 części. Zasiadałem w samochodzie jako pierwszy i przekazałem auto Lorenzo, gdy plasowaliśmy się na trzeciej pozycji będąc dość konkurencyjnymi. Mogliśmy walczyć o podium, a nawet zwycięstwo. Lorenzo wykonał bardzo dobrą pracę i zrównoważyliśmy strategię dotyczącą opon. Na cztery godziny przed końcem, kiedy Louis był na prowadzeniu, wywieszono czerwoną flagę, co nie pomogło, bo spowodowało zacieśnienie stawki. W drugiej połowie wyścigu nadal dobrze nam szło. Załoga bardzo dobrze pracowała w alei serwisowej, ale straciliśmy trochę czasu w kluczowych momentach. Wskoczyłem do samochodu, na ostatnią godzinę i czterdzieści minut. Plan był taki, że pojadę już do końca, ale pogoda zaczęła się zmieniać. Próbowaliśmy odrobić straty i wrócić do walki, ale ostatecznie wyścig został przerwany. Jako zespół powinniśmy być jednak bardzo zadowoleni. Z niecierpliwością czekamy na następną rundę WEC na torze Spa-Francorchamps. - Robert Kubica po 1000 miles of Sebring
