Na pewno podium jest dobrą nagrodą za ciężką pracę zespołu. Szczerze mówiąc, to więcej niż mogliśmy się spodziewać patrząc na ogólny obraz naszego tempa po kwalifikacjach. Po pierwszej godzinie wyścigu dobrze się pozbieraliśmy, nadrabiając różnicę jednej minuty i mieliśmy bardzo mocną drugą część zawodów. Podczas wyścigu wyczucie samochodu było znacznie lepsze niż w poprzednich sesjach i mogłem utrzymać dobre tempo pomimo kontaktu z samochodem GT, który spowodował silne wibracje z przodu, ponieważ uszkodzona została felga. Samochód bezpieczeństwa na końcu pomógł, ale nasze podejście do jazdy i strategia zmian opon i tak były dobre. Teraz mamy 10 dni przed rundą w Spa, aby popracować nad tym, czego nauczyliśmy się do tej pory. - Robert Kubica po #6HPortimao

6 Hours of Portimao to nasz drugi wyścig w sezonie. Po Sebring nie możemy doczekać się tych zawodów, chociaż jest to tor, na którym nie ścigałem się zbyt często, tylko raz w 2021 roku w European Le Mans Series. Cieszę się, że mogę tam wrócić. Zaliczyliśmy w tym miejscu kilka sesji testowych, więc znam dobrze ten obiekt. Może być dość wymagający z punktu widzenia opon, zwłaszcza teraz, gdy nie mamy systemów ich wstępnego podgrzewania. Charakteryzują go zakręty pokonywane z dużą prędkością, gdzie ogumienie jest poddawane wysokim obciążeniom. Wiele będzie zależało od pogody. Jak zawsze czeka nas bardzo zacięta rywalizacja w stawce LMP2, co widzieliśmy w Sebring. Liczą się najdrobniejsze rzeczy i na tym właśnie będziemy się skupiać. - Robert Kubica
